Today l received a letter from the Pension Service, regarding my state pension, which has risen slightly, as l'm in the category of the oldies!
It has incensed me and made me extremely angry, which is very bad for my blood pressure!
The Age Addition is 25p. This amount is each week, therefore £1 per month.

This dates from 1971, when Prime Minister Edward Heath declared that pensioners would receive an extra 25p. That is 52 years ago! I was in my 30s.
This amount has not risen in 52 years. It is disgusting and an insult to us.
Remember many of us were born before the Second World War and our dads and granddads were fighting for us to be free from occupation.
