I have been putting oil in my ears for two weeks now, (after going private on the mainland before Christmas as I couldn’t hear from one ear, the other ear remained totally stuck solid).
Now I have been told by Argyll Lodge Surgery on February 3 that the machine is broken and that they aren’t doing it any more, and I have to go private.
I pay £100k tax per annum, I do have private health insurance but it doesn’t cover small procedures like ear syringing.
I cannot see how withdrawing this service is feasible morally, to me or anyone else who won’t be able to afford it, please enlighten me?
Is this the end of the NHS?
