A COUPLE who used to live in Australia were married in an Oz-themed ceremony, with music provided by friends and family, at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sandown.
The bridegroom, Jack Benjamin George Baldwin, a doctor, is the son of Lucy Baldwin, of Preston, Lancashire, and the late Jonathan Baldwin.
The bride, Jessica Mary Ann Snow, a communications officer for a charity, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Snow, of Zig Zag Road, Ventnor.
The bride wore a white lace dress with capped sleeves, diamante embellishment, a full train and a floor-length veil and carried a bouquet of white, pale blue and soft pink wildflowers, with gypsophila and sweet peas.
She was attended by Hannah Leyro-Diaz (bride’s sister), Natalie Kesterton, Georgina Dixon and Deepa Mashru, who wore floor-length blue gowns, and flower girl Clara York, eight, who wore a pink lace dress.
Best man was Tom Baldwin (bridegroom’s brother).
Nick Colam and William Gittings-Smith acted as ushers.
Father Brian Coogan officiated.
Following a reception at Landguard Manor, Shanklin, Mr and Mrs Baldwin-Snow embarked on a honeymoon road trip across Europe, visiting France, Italy and Switzerland.
