A COUPLE who met on an internet dating site, Ian Charles Blackman and Gemma Mae Harvey, were married at Whatley Hall, Banbury, last year in a Beauty and the Beast-themed ceremony.
The bridegroom, a prison officer, is the son of the late Martin Blackman and the late Sheilagh Blackman, of Cockleton Lane, Gurnard.
The bride, a full-time mother and barmaid, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Alan Harvey, of Carisbrooke.
The bride wore a champagne coloured Alfred Angelo dress. She carried a bouquet made of yellow, blue and white silk flowers.
She was attended by Carrie Harvey (bride's sister) who was maid of honour and wore a royal blue dress. Chloe Blackman and Emily Blackman (bride and bridegroom's twin daughters), who wore white dresses with yellow sashes, and Khaleel Yaseen Ahmed (bride's nephew), who wore a cream suit with a matching yellow cravat, acted as a pageboy.
A reception was held at Whatley Hall, followed by a reception in Cornwall.
