THE song I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles rang out at the wedding reception of West Ham fans Dominic McNamara and Jodie Whyton, who were married at St Mary’s Church, Carisbrooke.
The bridegroom, who works for Global Wind Turbine Services, is the son of Simon McNamara, of Gort Road, East Cowes, and Helen Orchard, of Garden Way, Newport.
The bride is the daughter of John Whyton, of Home Meade, Newport, and Stella Whyton, of Wolverhampton.
The bride wore a floor-length, fish-tail gown, embroidered with crystals, and a cathedral veil. She carried a bouquet of orchids and roses.
She was attended by Carly Kumar Atwal, Amy and Zoe Whyton (bride’s sisters) and Brooke McNamara, 11 (couple’s daughter).
They wore floor-length dresses in royal blue chiffon.
The couple’s sons, Callum, eight, and Lucas, five, were page boys. They wore grey suits with cream waistcoats and royal blue bow ties.
The best man was Joe Rayner and the ushers were Aaron McNamara and Cameron Orchard (bridegroom’s brothers), Philip Atrill, Ashley Gulliver and Liam Slaven.
The Rev Kath Abbott officiated and a reception was held in a marquee at Newport Golf Club. The couple plan to take a honeymoon next month.
