NATIONAL beach soccer champions, Team Isle of Wight — representing England at the European Club Cup in Portugal this summer — is not only backed to do well, but is well supported by local businesses.  

PC Consultants have announced they are the team's championship tour sponsors, alongside their main kit shirt sponsors, PurpleBricks.

Team Isle of Wight will head to Nazare to compete in the European Club Cup as champions of England, facing Europe's elite in a competition where, historically, clubs like Barcelona, Sporting Braga and Grasshopper Zurich have all competed.

Jonathan Thornton, the CEO of PC Consultants, said: “We’re delighted and proud to be supporting the team as they represent the Isle of Wight on a huge stage playing beach soccer.”

Luke Kerr, who manages and coaches the team, said he was delighted to have the support of PC Consultants on the tour.

The team begin their preparations for the season ahead, this month, with the National Elite Championships, the World Youth Cup and the UK Super Cup, before embarking on the European Club Cup challenge.
