Famed for his one-liners, TV star and comedian Milton Jones will be coming to the Isle of Wight in February 2025.
The Mock the Week comic is bringing his new tour show, HA!MILTON, to Shanklin Theatre on February 5, after a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival.
However, it's not the first time Milton has been to the Isle of Wight.
He told the County Press: "I've been to the Isle of Wight a few times, and it's always very nice.
"The difference between summer and winter is quite marked in terms of both the number of people who are there and what you can do.
"I had a holiday on Sandbanks and we took a boat over and went to The Hut, that was when I was last on the Isle of Wight.
"I've performed on some islands around the UK where I've gone on stage and said, 'It's great to be here in the past!', but that's more Jersey and Guernsey."
Milton's new show is organised around the theme of music, drawing its name from the popular musical Hamilton.
"Last week, my support act Tom Hawton was on and halfway through his act a woman shouted, 'I thought this was a musical!'"
"Her husband had bought her tickets for her birthday and she had assumed that it was Hamilton.
"I like to think that the opposite might be true as well, that people might go to Hamilton the musical and they're like 'where's Milton Jones?'
"It's probably less likely to be honest."
HA!MILTON boasts "around 200 to 250 jokes", tied together by "music, props and artificial intelligence", although Milton admits some call the latter "an overhead projector."
He said: "It's not going to change anyone's political opinion, and it's not going to make a big impact on the social topography of this land.
"But if you want to escape for a couple of hours and you like jokes that are stupid, then it's the show for you."
