WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Here is a list of some of the roadworks and associated closures:
BRIGHSTONE: Military Road will shut during barrier repair works, between its junctions with Grange Road and Marsh Green, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Friday, September 27.
ST LAWRENCE: Old Park Road will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Wolverton Road and Undercliff Drive, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
COWES: Carvel Lane will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with terminus Road and High Street, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.
YARMOUTH: Station Road will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Victoria Road and Heytesbury Road, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.
NEWPORT: Argyle Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Forest Close and Forest Road, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, September 27.
SEAVIEW: Ferniclose Road will close during CCTV drainage survey works, between its junctions with Ryde Footpath 105 and The Close, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, September 27.
WOOTTON: High Street will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Station Road and Church Close Path, from 9am on Monday until 5pm on Wednesday, October 2.
RYDE: Ratcliffe Avenue will close during utility works, between its junctions with Adelaide Place and West Street, between 8pm on Tuesday until 12.01am on Wednesday.
SHANKLIN: Landguard Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Western Road and High Street, between 8pm on Thursday and 6.30am on Friday, September 27.
Also, Church Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Rectory Road and Chine Avenue, between 8pm on Tuesday and 12.01am on Wednesday.
MERSTONE: Chapel Lane will close during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Wednesday until 4pm on Friday, September 27.
CHALE: Upper House Lane will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Thursday.
