ISLE of Wight police have made an arrest following a altercation in Ryde last week.
At around 8pm last night (Tuesday), officers detained a man at an address on East Hill Road.
The 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
This is in connection with an altercation on East Hill Road on Friday, April 19.
The man remains in police custody.
