ONE OF the busiest roads in an Isle of Wight town centre will undergo roadworks over three days this week.
Island Roads will be undertaking repairs to the carriageway in Medina Avenue, Newport, starting this evening (Tuesday).
This will be completed over several hours, in three evening shifts, through to and including Thursday, November 23.
The works will be done between its junctions with St Johns Road and Mount Pleasant Road.
An alternative route will be signposted.
"Work will be undertaken during the evening, in order to reduce the impact on the network, and access will be maintained to residents throughout, as long as it is safe to do so," an Island Roads spokesperson said.
