WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.

Thanks to Island Roads, we have provided a handy selection of some worth avoiding.

SHALFLEET: Coopers Lane will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 7am on Monday until 6pm on Friday, October 20.

Also, Freshwater Road will close during road stud maintenance works, between Monday and Friday, October 13.

TOTLAND: Moons Hill will shut during utility works, along its entire length, between 8am on Tuesday and 4pm on Monday, November 13. 

NINGWOOD: Main Road will shut for stud maintenance works, along its entire length, between Monday and Friday, October 13. 

WOOTTON: Ashlake Copse Road will shut during utility works, along its entire length, between 9am on Tuesday and 5pm on Friday, October 13.

PORCHFIELD: Whitehouse Cross will shut during utility works, along its entire length, between 6am on Monday and 6pm on Friday, November 17.

ARRETON: East Lane will shut during utility works, between its junctions with the Perreton Farm access road and Arreton Road, 9.30am and 3.30pm on Monday.

NITON: Rectory Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with High Street and Chatfield Road, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Friday, October 13.

HAVENSTREET: Combley Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Havenstreet Main Road and Gravel Pit Lane, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Friday, October 13.

CALBOURNE: Yarmouth Road will shut during road stud maintenance works, along its entire length, between Monday and Friday, October 13.

Also, Sun Hill will be shut during road stud maintenance works, along its entire length, between Monday and Friday, October 13.

CRANMORE: Yarmouth Road will shut during road stud maintenance works, along its entire length, between Monday and Friday, October 13.

SHORWELL: Walkers Lane will shut during road stud maintenance works, along its entire length, between Monday and Friday, October 13.

NEWCHURCH: Lime Kiln Shute will shut during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, for one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 13
