WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Thanks to Island Roads, we have provided a handy selection of some worth avoiding.
CHALE: Chale Street will be closed for utility works, between its junctions with Gotten Lane and Upper House Lane, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Friday, December 15.
BEMBRIDGE: Forelands Field Road will be shut for utility works, along its entire length, between 8am on Monday, until 6pm on Friday, October 13.
Also, Steyne Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with Hillway Road and Preston Road, from 9am on Monday until 12pm on Saturday, October 13.
WHITWELL: Kemming Road will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Ventnor Road and Bannock Road, from 6.30am on Wednesday until 6am on Friday, October 6.
WROXALL: High Street will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Wallis Close and Grove Road, on one shift, between 7pm on Tuesday and 6.30am on Wednesday.
GURNARD: Rew Street will be shut for utility works, along its entire length, between 6am on Tuesday and 6pm on Tuesday, November 7.
PORCHFIELD: Thorness Lane will be shut for carriageway repair works, along its entire length, in one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Also, Whiteoak Lane will close during verge repair works, in one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 6.
NEWCHURCH: Knighton Lane will shut for carriageway repairs, along its entire length, in one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
FRESHWATER: Bedbury Lane will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Queens Road and Victoria Road, from 7pm on Wednesday until 11pm on Friday, October 6.
