WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Thanks to Island Roads, we have provided a handy selection of some worth avoiding.
NORTHWOOD: Pallance Road will close for utility works, between its junctions with Cockleton Lane and Wyatts Lane, from 8am on Monday until 5pm on Wednesday.
BEMBRIDGE: Peacock Hill will be shut during utility works, along its entire length, between 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, October 6.
GODSHILL: Hollow Lane will shut for carriageway repair works, along its entire length, in one shift, between Wednesday and Friday, September 29.
GURNARD: Church Road will close for utility works, between its junctions with Tilbury Road and Worsley Road, between 8am on Thursday and 4pm on Monday, October 2.
Also, Princes Esplanade will close during retaining wall works, between its junctions with Woodvale Road and Gurnard Esplanade, between 7.30am on Monday and 5pm on Friday, October 6.
FRESHWATER: Heath Lane will be closed during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am today (Friday) until 4pm on Friday, September 29.
BRADING: Quay Lane will close for utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, October 20.
Also, Upper Road will also close during utility works, between its junctions with Sheep Lane and Brading Footpath 45, from 8am on Tuesday until 4pm on Tuesday, October 3.
BRIGHSTONE: Mill Lane will close during bridge repair works, between its junctions with New Road and Marsh Green, between 12.01am on Monday and 11.59pm on Friday, September 29.
ARRETON: Newport Shute will close during street furniture works, along its entire length, in one shift sometime between Monday and Tuesday.
WHITWELL: Ford Farm Lane will close during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, in one shift between Monday and Tuesday.
