Emergency teams have been tackling a fire on the grounds of a historic Isle of Wight manor house this afternoon (Tuesday, July 18).
Crews from Newport Fire Station were called at 4.48pm to reports of a blaze at Barton Manor.
The manor house entrance is located off Whippingham Road, on the outskirts of East Cowes, south of Osborne House.
A grass and hedge fire on the grounds of the privately owned estate was tackled by firefighters.
Teams made the scene safe, and left shortly before 5.45pm.
