FIRE crews are in East Cowes tonight following a van blaze.
A cleaning company van was ablaze next to a historic shed, once used by hovercraft designer Christopher Cockerell.
The top of Victoria Grove is closed but the road is accessible by Beatrice Avenue. Buses are being guided through, however.
As luck would have it, it was Monday training night for the fire crew so they were near the scene.
East Cowes has suffered a series of van fires in recent months.
The incident was being stood down at around 9.40pm.
