A voice actor from the Isle of Wight, who has worked for Netflix, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, FedEx and more, has won a prestigious national award.
Emma Topping was nominated from over 4,000 entries in the One Voice Awards 2023.
Known as the industry’s leading awards for voice actors, they were handed out on May 13, at a conference and awards ceremony in London.
Nominees enjoyed a black-tie dinner, attended by the industry’s leading voice artists, presented by Peter Dickson, the brand voice of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.
During the evening, actor, comedian and impressionist, Jon Culshaw, was presented with the Voiceover Legend award and Welsh comic and actor, Rob Brydon, was also at the conference.
Since launching her company in December 2021, Emma Topping has voiced many commercials for TV and radio, along with corporate video narration for global clients including Netflix, Amazon, Google, Microsoft and FedEx.
She also produces on-hold phone messages for businesses across the UK.

The One Voice award recognised Emma's narration for e-learning courses for national company Navitas Safety.
Emma said: "I can’t thank the One Voice judges enough for this incredible recognition; I’m hugely grateful to be rewarded in this way for doing a job that I really enjoy!"
Emma Topping has worked in broadcasting and communications for over two decades.
On Twitter, One Voice said: "Congrats Emma and enjoy your celebrating!" adding the nomination was much-deserved.
