A body has been found in the search for a missing Isle of Wight woman.
Celia Vosper, 77 and from Freshwater, was last seen in the village on Tuesday afternoon (28).
A multi-agency search, involving police, lifeboat and coastguard helicopter teams, launched that evening.
WightSAR volunteers also joined efforts.
Ares of focus included the shoreline between Yarmouth and The Needles.
Yarmouth RNLI were called out once again yesterday morning (Wednesday).
And on land, a large police presence was seen in Freshwater.
Police searching in the area of Alum Bay, New Road yesterday afternoon found the body of a woman.
Formal identification has not been completed but her family have been made aware and are being supported by officers.
The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
