MULTIPLE fire crews continue to tackle a property fire in Seaview this afternoon (Friday).
Crews from Ryde, Newport, Sandown, Cowes, Freshwater and Portchester have all been called to the scene on Oakhill Road.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the fire originated in a garage and spread to a roof.
Four breathing aparatus and two hose reel jets were used to contain it.
The incident is ongoing and Oakhill Road remains closed.
