POLICE are investigating the death of a teenage boy in Ryde — but are treating it as non-suspicious.
Officers were called to an address in St John's Hill at 10.14am yesterday (Saturday), following a report of the body of a boy, aged 17, had been found.
Paramedics with the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service pronounced the boy dead at the scene.
The teenager's next of kin were informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A Hampshire Cnstabulary spokesman said: "His death his being treated as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Police are continuing their inquiries.
