THE Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has landed in Ryde this afternoon (Friday).
County Press readers have reported spotting the helicopter land close to Quarry Road, near St John's Train Station.
A police presence has also been reported in the area.

UPDATE 5.40pm:
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said the air ambulance was tasked to two separate emergencies in Ryde.
Both casualties had suffered cardiac arrests. Neither were transported by helicopter.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is no longer on the Isle of Wight.
