FIRE crews were called to a vehicle fire in Sandown this afternoon (Wednesday).
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Services from Ryde and Shanklin were called out at 2.40pm, arriving on the scene at 2.50pm, and stopping at 2.59pm, having successfully tackled the flames.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Services were called out to a Ford Transit Flat Bed vehicle to deal with a front cab fire, which was put out using two hoses and some small tools."
