PARAMEDICS were called to a medical emergency in Totland this afternoon (Friday).

Crews from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were called to The Waterfront in Totland after they were called shortly after 3pm to a member of the public suffering a cardiac arrest.

A spokes person for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said: "Two ambulance crews were sent to the scene at 3.14pm.

"We also sent one Helimed air ambulance and paramedics are currently on the scene now."
