FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a car fire in Newport this afternoon (Tuesday).
A crew from Newport Fire Station were called out at 2.09pm to the car on Fairlee Road.
The engine compartment was overheating and firefighters had to damp it down with a hose reel jet.
